ITA | Game of the Year è un documentario d'osservazione che racconta il mondo dei videogiochi in Italia. Abbiamo seguito otto persone in giro per il paese: tre sviluppatori, uno youtuber, due streamer e due giocatori e-sport, per capire il loro approccio a questo medium straordinario, eppure così lontano da avere una propria legittimità. Game of the Year è un film sulle prospettive di una vita in funzione del videogioco, sulle vittorie e sulle sconfitte, sulla gioia di esprimersi attraverso un linguaggio che può raccontare molto più di ciò che ci è sempre stato detto.

ENG | Game of the Year is an observational documentary feature film about the videogames industry in Italy. We followed eight people around the country: three developers, one YouTuber, two streamers, and two e-sport players, to understand how they decide to work through this fresh and unique medium, instead of the others. Game of the Year is a film about prospects, about winnings and failures, about the joy of expressing ourselves through a language that can tell much more than we think.
